Surrey Sports Park

The Surrey Sports Park are Storm’s principal partner and sponsor.

Since taking over the London and South East Netball Franchise in August 2009 Surrey Sports Park have re branded the franchise as Surrey Storm and have injected huge sums of money in to netball as well as working tirelessly behind the scenes to develop a new brand, squad and vision.

The Surrey Sports Park will be the new home venue to Surrey Storm in 2010. The park is due to open in the spring and will house some of the most up to date sports facilities in the country. As well as Surrey’s first 50 metre pool, there will be glass backed squash courts with 2 show courts for 180 spectators, eight outdoor floodlit tennis courts, two new floodlit artificial grass pitches including one 3rd generation, a 120 station health and fitness suite and a 12m high Climbing Centre with unique bouldering facility. The 250 seat Starbucks Coffee House will be the first Starbucks in Europe to be housed within a multi-sports facility.

Not only will the Surrey Sports Park facilitate able bodied sporting excellence, it will also provide first rate facilities and access for disabled athletes and selection as an official training venue for the Paralympic Games in 2012 has emphasised its top rate provision for disability sport. University of Surrey

The University of Surrey is an international university with a worldwide reputation for excellence in teaching and research. It offers students a unique combination of high academic standards, employment success and a prime location in beautiful surroundings, yet with ease of access to London.

Surrey’s undergraduate and postgraduate students experience a first-rate working environment and a lively social life. In 2009 Storm and England player Tamsin Greenway became Netball Development Manager for The University of Surrey and The Surrey Sports Park and Tamsin will be working closely with the University’s netball teams, coaches and facilities to develop a netball excellence programme for both the University and the Surrey Sports Park.

Gilbert

Gilbert Netball are Storm’s official kit sponsor haven signed a 2 year deal in 2009. Gilbert also supply Storm with a number of Merchandise items from shirts to bags and replica netballs.

We are very proud to have one of the most successful netball specialists to provide playing and training kit for all Storm’s squad and staff, Gilbert are also the kit supplier for international sides such as Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad, Botswana, Wales and Malawi. They are official ball suppliers to the likes of Australia and New Zealand, and for the ANZ Championship and all official IFNA World Tournaments.

Eagle Radio

96.4 Eagle Radio are the official media partner for Surrey Storm for their first season in the Co-operative Netball Superleague.

Surrey and Hampshire’s market leading Commercial radio station will be supporting the team and will be present at many of their home games along with competitions for listeners to win match tickets. Eagle Radio has its own Promotions Team named 'The Love Crew' and they will also be supporting Storm this season and fans will be able to pick up I love Surrey Storm stickers courtesy of 96.4 Eagle Radio throughout the season.

London and South East Netball

The London and South East Region are an important partner to Surrey Storm. They not only help fund the Surrey Storm Youth team Surrey Storm Talent but provide essential links with teams and netballers playing in all counties in London and the South East. The London and South East region is the largest region playing netball in the UK and consists of four counties: Essex Met, Kent, Middlesex and Surrey. Over 20,000 people play netball in London and the South East every week.
