Surrey Storm
Surrey Storm are the Superleague Franchise for London and the South East. Formerly Brunel Hurricanes the new look London and South East franchise are partnered by the Surrey Sports Park.
Storm are coached by ex England coach Mary Beardwood, the most successful national coach of the last decade. Their squad includes England Internationals Tamsin Greenway, Geva Mentor, Rachel Dunn and England Co-Captain Sonia Mkoloma as well as experienced Superleague players. Their foreign contingent consists of Aussie’s Jaime Galley and Polini Langi who were involved in last year’s campaign and Kiwi Michelle Hall, formerly of Mavericks.
Surrey Storm play their home matches at Guildford Spectrum and in the spring of 2010 will move to their new multi million pound home venue – The Surrey Sports Park, also in Guildford.
