Surrey Storm is very excited to announce the Long Squad and Coaching Team for the School Sports Games which will be held at the end of August this year in Loughborough.
Featuring girls from our County Academies, Surrey Storm Development Acadmies and Surrey Storm Hubs, this exciting group of girls will be competing against all of the England Netball Performance Pathway Franchises plus Netball Scotland and Netball Northern Ireland.
Speaking about the group, Performance Pathway Manager Emily Nemeth was understandably excited,
“We went through a thorough and rigorous trial process, and had an exceptionally hard job to sift through the wonderful talent that we have in the South/London and South East” she said.
“The Long Squad of 18 will work with our amazing Coaching Team throughout the summer, and I have no doubt that they will do Storm proud at this incredible competition”.
The Surrey Storm Performance Pathway is undergoing some exciting changes, further details of trials and locations for the new Storm Academies will be held in September with more details announced shortly.
